The light in front of our house is a big black post light in the middle of the lawn. It’s situated in such a way that sometimes if it is on the glare shines though the window. We had problems with this light way back when, basically it didn’t work for a number of years and one day just started working again. I’d really like to replace it but don’t know with what. I think I’d like something a bit shorter, about the height of those little men in equestrian clothing holding a lantern. Hubby thinks that will be too short, the light out there now is more than five foot tall. What’s too short for an outside light?
