The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Eighth Season
The Big Bang Theory is coming to Blu-ray + Digital HD for the Complete Eighth Season on 9/15/15. Join Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Howard (Simon Helberg), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), Amy (Mayim Bialik, Ph.D) and last but not least, Stuart (Kevin Sussman).
When I originally heard the name of this show I didn’t watch it. I guess I thought it sounded boring. After two seasons, I happened to watch it one night and have been a fan ever since. Each character brings their own personality to the table, and although you know their characteristics, you still are not sure what to expect.
One of my favorite scenes from Season 8:

Season 8 Synopsis:

  • Raj continues his most serious relationship yet with Emily

If you happen to be new to the Big Bang Theory but would like to start watching it now, I will catch you up a bit to get your ready for season 8.
The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Eighth Season

Sheldon and Amy

After four months riding the train rails, Sheldon’s cross-country train journey is abruptly interrupted when he’s robbed on a sleeper train. Leonard drives out to Arizona after receiving a call from Sheldon, and Amy rides along. Amy is angry and I think hurt that Sheldon didn’t call for her help, Sheldon admits that he didn’t want her to know he couldn’t make it on his own. Which is not surprising since Sheldon’s character likes to act like he is a ‘tough guy’.

Leonard & Penny

Starting season eight, Leonard and Penny start to get used to adjusting to life as an engaged couple and tentatively start to plan their wedding. Wanting to move in together Leonard and Penny start to discuss moving in together. The problem is that Sheldon’s dependence on Leonardcoupled with his aversion to change held them back. Sheldon offers a compromise and agrees to allow Leonard to spend one night a week at Penny’s.
Leonard and Penny’s roles in the relationship change with Penny making good money in her new job as a pharmaceutical sales rep. To help keep things exciting, they even try new things in the bedroom after Leonard stops by an adult store and buys a body paint kit.

Howard and Bernadette

Now that Stuart is living at Mrs. Wolowitz’s house following the fire at his comic book store, Howard grows increasingly irritated. Howard only sees Stuart as somebody else mooching off his mother. Bernadette thinks Howard is overreacting until Stuart brings Howard’s cousin as his date to the prom.
When Stuart’s comic book store is ready to re-open, Bernadette tells Howard he should be happy that Stuart will be able to stand on his own two feet again. Instead, Howard is angry that his mother gave her old furniture to Stuart to use in the store. This season Howard experiences many different emotions, but you will have to watch the series in order to see what I am referring to.

Raj and Emily

Raj’s relationship with Emily hits a bump in the road when Emily and Penny meet for the first time. Penny can’t figure out why Emily is cold to her and when Penny stops by Emily’s office to try her pharmaceutical sales pitch with a real doctor, Penny asks Emily if she doesn’t like her. Emily admits she’s uncomfortable around Penny given her history with Raj and their night together. Despite Raj’s attempts to patch things up between the ladies, they both later admit they don’t like each other.
