It’s no secret that my family loves music. I mention it often. You almost always find music playing in my house, in at least one room. I would sooner listen to music then watch most television. My oldest son is quite talented musically, and hopes to have a career in the music industry. We love to go to shows when possible. There’s nothing like seeing a band live. I prefer smaller clubs, and always aim for the front row. Volbeat. Trivium. Digital Summer. Oleander. All shows I was front row for in the past year. In years prior add in Hinder, Rev Theory, Theory of a Deadman, Nonpoint, Faktion, Motley Crue and many others. And those are just shows I was front row for. There are many others I attended but was further back.
After the show, when when you get home, there’s nothing like putting on a CD from the band you saw and blasting it through the house, enjoying the music and remembering the live experience through memories and pictures (if you’re lucky). Wireless technology is making that easier. I fell in love with wireless technology for music earlier this year. If you haven’t experience it, be sure not to miss Best Buy Audio Fest this year.
What is Audio Fest? It’s an event taking place in all best Buy stores from August 3 to August 30, 2014.
