Summer is flying by and before we know it our ids will be going back to school. That means parents are going to be hitting the stores loading up on school supplies. I’m a little dorky, I love office and school supplies, which is why I accepted the opportunity to check out some new products from Pentel.

MY THOUGHTS
First off, when I hear the name Pentel the first thing I think of is the old commercial “rolling writer, Pentel Pen”. I’m old. That’s how long Pentel has been around, attesting to their quality. I received a box full of goodies from Pentel including an RSVP pen, a Jolt automatic pencil and a Handy-line S retractable highlighter, along with samples of Oh Gel Retractable Gel Pens and Twist Erase Express Automatic Pencils.
Pentel Jolt
The Jolt automatic pencil felt as comfortable to hold as the Pentel pens do. The refillable pencils have a system where if you shake the barrel the right amount of lead comes out, which is much easier than clicking and getting too much lead, which is what usualy happens to me. I found that the tips didn’t seem to break as quickly as some others that we’ve used.I received light green, they’re also available in blue, orange and pink.
Pentel Handyline S Highlighter
I love the Handy-line S retractable highlighter. I love that it retracts – no more dropping or losing the cap! And it’s thin. I always make a mess highlighting with the fat tipped highlighters. Plus, it’s refillable, something highlighter lovers like me will definitely appreciate. I received yellow, they’re also available in orange, light green, pink, sky blue and violet.
Pentel Oh Gel Pen
The Oh!Gel retractable gel pens have a soft and comfy grip. They write very smoothly, something you can feel and see. We got black pens, they’re also available in red and blue.
Pentel Twist Erase Express Pencils
The Twist-Erase Express Automatic Pencils are different than other automatic pencils because they have a twist up eraser. These pencils are also comfy to hold, just like the pens, and write smoothly. We received light green and blue barreled pencils. Other barrel colors are available including red, orange, yellow and violet. The pencils are available in three lead sizes.
