Most of the snow has melted which means spring is on its way! With spring, comes Easter, which is only a few weeks away. I have always loved seeing the little ones dressed in their Easter best. Pretty dresses, hats, and bow ties! I remember my son’s first Easter like it was yesterday! We took him to meet the Easter bunny and had no idea how he would react. Well, he loved him!
Baby’s first Easter basket can be a little tricky. They are not old enough for candy, and all those yummy treats. In my son’s first Easter basket he got his favorite snacks, some books, and baby toys. Traditionally for my first–outfit, chocolate bunny, Easter outfit, dinner at my parents.
I always shopped there when my boys were babies. They always had everything I Needed.
My Grandkids always get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny!! I shop at Babies R Us, but soon the kids are going to out grow it.
I love firsts like this. Firsts are those things that you always remember with a fond smile, and sometimes, a tear in your eye.

My daughter was several months old so she got Easter pictures with the Easter Bunny. She also wore a poofy dress.

The firsts are always the absolute best! I fondly remember taking my babies to meet the Easter Bunny and having them all dressed up and fancy.

Thats a great idea for a non traditional basket. How cute. Those outfits are adorable too. When kiddo was younger her basket would have little age appropriate toys, books and snacks.
I bought a nice basket that I filled and wrapped myself for his first Easter and now 12 years later I use the same basket each year… the things I put in the basket are things that are age-appropriate of course, and whatever are his favorite things. My son never liked the Easter Bunny so I never got one good pic of that and after he was 4, I never even tried again. 🙂 I miss shopping at Babies R Us. Sigh.
I dont have baby but I do have a niece. Hopefully we can put a cute little dress on her!
