Making homemade sugar scrub is a fun craft you can do on your own or with the kids. It’s a fun activity that results in a sugar scrub that smells good and leaves your skin feeling smoother. The sugar helps exfoliate your skin while the shea glycerin soap base helps soften and moisturize.

This tutorial makes 12 Apricot Mango Peach sugar scrub cubes if using the same mold listed under supplies.
Supplies Needed
Ingredients
- â…› cup apricot oil
- â…› pound shea glycerin melt & pour soap base
- ½ cup pure cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon apricot seed
- 15 drops peach mango fragrance oil
- 2 drops tangerine soap dye
Instructions
Melt your soap base in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. If it is not completely melted, put in for another 10 seconds.
Add in the apricot oil and stir.
Now add the sugar and stir. Should the mixture start to thicken as you ass ingredients you can put it back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
Add the apricot seed and stir.
Add the fragrance oil and stir.
Finally, add in the soap dye and stir well.
Pour the mixture into the cavities in the ice cube tray.
Let set for about 2 hours.
Remove the cubes from the tray and store in an airtight container. Each cube is good for 1-2 uses.
