I love Nascar Nextel Cup racing. I watch every race. Today they’re racing in Kansas City. Shortly after they started the red flag was thrown for rain. So the race stopped. It didn’t take long for the shower to end and the race to restart. The #2 looked outstanding and I told my son he’d the one to beat. Kurt pitted the car and Tony took the lead. Just then it started pouring so they threw the red flag again. Pouring like crazy. Now Tony’s in the front now but IF they restart he’ll have to pit. IF they can get it dried in time to run some more before darkness falls, I believe the blue deuce will make her way to the front again. On tv right this moment they’re implying they don’t know if it’ll be dry enough to run again. For anyone that doesn’t watch this race series, the cars do not use rain tires so that’s why the track has to be dried. I know of at least a few drivers who’d probably be so terrified to run in a little bit of rain that they’d be crying into their mics. But that topic would get me started on whiny drivers, and you might be able to guess where I’d go with that subject.
