I’ve been wearing mineral powder foundation for about two years now. I’ve been wanting something with better coverage for a while now, so I was happy to receive an opportunity to try Advanced Mienral Makeup. Advanced Mineral Makeup was created in 2009 by Annie Mayo, a  TV/Film makeup artist with more than 25 years in the beauty industry.
Advanced Mineral Makeup is made of natural ingredients and specific color undertones in order to provide great coverage that looks natural. For use with all skin types, Advanced Mineral Makeup is free of toxins, gluten, parabens, talc, fragrances and dye. This vegan line of natural cosmetics suitable for all skin types includes foundation, concealer, eye liner, lip liner, lipstick, lip gloss, and much more.

Advanced Mineral makeup liquid foundation
Advanced Mineral makeup liquid foundation is available in 7 shades. I received a bottle in the Creme Brulee shade. I hadn’t been 100% certain of the color but was pleased to find that it matched my skintone very well. My Mom was diagnosed with skin cancer a few years back. I appreciated knowing that the anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory foundation contains titanium dioxide, which is a natural sunscreen; as well as antioxidants; vitamins A and E; rosemary and aloe barbadensis juice to heal skin. Not only does the makeup help protect your skin, it also helps boost the natural function of the skin by stimulating cell growth to rejuvenate tired skin. While Advanced Mineral is suitable for all skin types, it is ideal for sensitive skin as well as acne, rosacea, broken capillaries and hyperpigmented skin.
I’d never tried liquid mineral foundation before and was really pleased. I liked the coverage it provided. It covered nicely but yet it didn’t feel super heavy. The foundation blended easily. I found it to have really nice staying power, I didn’t need to reapply it at all and it didn’t rub off onto any clothing. The longest I’ve had it on for so far is 7 hours and I found no need to reapply while wearing it. It washes off easily. I have been wearing it for some time now and have had no negative reactions at all, and my pores haven’t gotten clogged. The Liquid Mineral Foundation retails for $44.00.

Advanced Minerals Pressed Mineral Powder
Advanced Mineral also offers an award winning Pressed Mineral Powder, which I received in the Angelina shade. This semi-matte powder is 100% VEGAN, gluten, fragrance, dye, talc and paraben free. The water resistant product functions as a foundation, powder, concealer and SPF all in one. While the powder is very long lasting, it’s also designed so that it won’t look heavy or settle into finelines. This compact is one that you’ll want to keep in your purse, since it can work as a foundation or setting powder and is both buildable and blendable. This formula was designed to provide medium to full coverage, and has light diffusing properties to help skin look more youthful. I have used pressed powders before and this one actually impressed me, providing lasting coverage. I do wish this product was available in a few more colors. I think the Taylor might be too light for me but I also find the Angelina that I received to be a tad darker than I like. The Pressed Mineral Powder is available in 4 shades and retails for $39.50.
I also received 2 eyeliners and 2 lip gloss. These two items are my two “go to” items. This means that if I can only have two different cosmetic products with me, chances are extremely high that one will be an eye liner and the other will be a lip gloss.

Advanced Mineral Luxury Lip Gloss
Advanced Mineral Luxury Lip Gloss is available in 5 colors. I received the color Candice, which they accurately describe as a pinky/brown color. This product is also mineral based, and contains nourishing ingredients such as lavender and sweet almond oil that help nourish and add moisture to the lips while helping them look fuller. The lip gloss goes on smoothly and has a nice amount of shine. It lasted about an hour before I felt the need to reapply. The Luxury Lip Gloss retails for $18.00.

Advanced Mineral All Natural Eyeliners
Advanced Mineral All Natural Eyeliners are free of parabens, dyes, and fragrance. This eyeliner comes in two colors, jet and chocolate. The colors of each were great, the jet actually surprised me by being really jet black. The eyeliner lasts well. For me it goes on a tad thicker than I am used to, it reminded me more of a crayon than a smooth pencil. The All Natural Eyeliner retails for $18.00.
