My Dad has had a pickup truck for most of his adult life. And, they have always been Ford trucks. He currently drives a big F-250 Super Duty and loves it. It’s quite capable and does what he needs it to do and then some. But, I have a sneaking suspicion when he hears about the lineup of Super Duty trucks he’s going to be coveting one.
The all-new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup and chassis lineup was unveiled at the State Fair in Texas earlier today. The weather wasn’t the only thing that was hot, as the new trucks are chock full of good stuff.

After doing a bit of reading and watching some video on the new models, what stood out to me above it all was what they’ve done to the chassis. They completely reworked the chassis and this thing is a real beast now. Check out the little experiment they did and you’ll know what I mean!

This would be the perfect truck for my Dad. He loves to take on projects and uses a little trailer to get the supplies he needs. The trailer is often to small to fit everything.
