MY THOUGHTS
Sofia The First is about a young girl, Sofia, who becomes a princess when her mother marries the king of Enchancia. This DVD contains five episodes from the first season. Sofia is adjusting to being a princess and is learning to adjust to life in the castle. Sofia now goes to a new school, and she needs to make friends with her new step-sister and new school friends, as well as learn how princesses behave. Sofia gets lots of help from Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather, the fairies from Sleeping Beauty. Sofia is a nice girl at heart and she has to learn to be true to herself. There’s plenty of songs and dancing throughout the DVD. Sofia is a sweet character, I love the way she talks to the animals. If you have a little Disney Princess fan, I won’t ruin the story but will tell you that appearances are made by Cinderella and Princess Jasmine.
