We have had buckets of rain this spring here in central Pennsylvania! I usually try to run between the raindrops, but end up looking frumpy and soggy! The old camping raincoats we own are getting worn out and shabby looking, so I was really looking forward to doing this review!
November Rain sent me all 3 of the ponchos they currently sell! The styles and colors they have are:
- ocean blue, a solid pretty teal
- oriental bird, a pretty bird pattern that almost appears paisley with hot pink, blue, white and a soft orange
- tribe, a pretty tribal pattern in blues and greens.
Each poncho comes in a matching waterproof pouch.
My favorite pattern is oriental bird, my oldest daughter grabbed the tribe one and wore it to school (she’s a third grade teacher) during a week of nonstop rain and arrived dry and looking fresh! I have 2 more daughters, so we may have to draw straws for the ocean blue one!
November Rain made their ponchos to be waterproof, stylish and allow you do do your normal activities without having to worry about balancing an umbrella, too! The ponchos are printed using ecologically sound water less printing methods and quality crafted with heat sealed seams. You can actually iron them on the printed side with a hot iron!
Okay, you’ve heard all these good things about November Rain, but I haven’t even gotten to my favorite thing about them! They give back! November Rain is committed to giving 10% of their revenue back to developing countries to provide clean drinking water and irrigation for crops! Isn’t that wonderful? As a part time Missionary Nurse,I have seen the effect of dirty drinking water and poor irrigation methods firsthand. Many of the illnesses we saw in the medical clinics were directly related to one or both of these issues.
My family and I love these ponchos! they are pretty, comfortable, keep us dry and well made! I anticipate many years of use and will probably take them on many mission trips.
Each poncho sells for $59 and can be purchased on the November Rain website. You can also keep up with November Rain on social media, on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Really cool ponchos, they seem quite comfi, last but least they are beautiful. I will get a pair of them for myself and my husband for sure. Thank you for sharing Valerie!
I always carry one on my trips to the Sunshine State where I always seem to get caught un the rain. Which reminds me, time for a new one to pack into my ready-to-go travel bag.
This is really stylish and would definitely be great to have on hand here in the south during the summer. Seems like it rains every afternoon right when I leave for the grocery store or to run errands!
Nice color arrangements on these ponchos. Colors for him and her!
This would make a great Fathers day gift for my Dad. He’s getting harder to buy for but this is great.
I really like the blue poncho. It definitely makes ponchos look so much better. I think it’s worth having especially since its been raining so much over here. I’m not fond of umbrellas.
The one thing that these ponchos offer that I can’t get from others that I’ve seen in stores in a storage bag! I also love that they come in prints that are easily identifiable, so that if someone “rips” theirs they can’t say that it isn’t theirs any longer!
