Who loves to pop bubbles? I do! When a box arrives and whatever is in it is surrounded by bubble wrap it’s a tough decision if I should check the item out or just sit and pop all of the bubbles. Bandai America released a new toy recently that bubble poppers will love. It’s the Mugen Pop Pop. This toy should be appearing in stores right now, as it was released on 10/27/08. It simulates popping bubbles like there are in plastic bubble wrap and comes in a keychain form with eight bubbles and a built in speaker. After every 100 pops a random sound like a dog bark, a fart, a door chime and a horn will surprise the player. Four colors are available – ice, blueberry, lime and raspberry. This toy originated in Japan and is very popular there. I thought the feel of pressing the bubbles was similar to popping bubble wrap but the sound is a little different. It’d make a neat stocking stuffer. It retails for about $5.99 and is available in stores nationwide and online. It is labeled for ages 8 and up.
