We love our Wii. While we have just about every game console there is (PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Super Nintendo, N64, GameCube and Wii), the Wii has definitely turned into my favorite. Recently I learned about a new game that’s coming our for the Wii from Disney called Disney Epic Mickey.
The thing that I love the most about this game is that coming from Disney, I know it will be fun and safe for all members of our family to play. It certainly sounds interesting. My understanding of this game is that it is a combination of action-adventure, role play and platform gaming. The player plays as Mickey. In the game the player finds himself in Wasteland, which is an alternate world made up of Disney’s unused creativity. While traveling between lands in Wasteland the player must go through more traditional platform play inspired by animated films and shorts. Using paint and animation the player has the power to change the world, solve challenges and help Mickey become a hero. Players can collect more than 75 virtual Disney Pins in the game.
The Disney Epic Mickey Wii game is regularly priced at 49.99. It can currently be pre-ordered at a sale price of $39.99 and qualifies for free shipping. The release date is November 30.
