RB said recently that our grill didn’t work any more. During summers past he cooked dinner for us on the grill several nights a week. That way the house doesn’t heat up from the cooking. Last night I needed to feed everyone. My Dad had been working on my truck in 90+ degree heat all day so the last thing I wanted to do was cook him a meal that he’d have to eat in a hot house. So I went out and bought subs.
We certainly can’t afford to eat out every day. We all have good appetites. I want to ask my Dad to look at the grill and see if he can figure out what’s wrong with it. RB wants to buy another grill. (I think he just doesn’t want his pride hurt or something, I really don’t know.) I just can’t see spending a lot of money we don’t have on a new grill if we don’t have to. I don’t want to go behind hubby’s back and ask Dad, so I guess I’ll just have to let it slip to Dad at an opportune moment.
