I am a Beneful ambassador. Please note that, as always, any personal opinions reflected in this post are my own and have not been influenced by the sponsor in any way.

We love our Dobby. Dobby has moments where he can be a real pain in the butt, like anyone. But you can’t help but love him. Watching him play with my boys is a blast. Sometimes on a rough day, sitting next to him and watching television and getting that big sloppy kiss makes things a bit better. And any night, no matter how warm it is, feels complete without Dobby crawling under the blankets and curling up behind my knees. The silly puppy is a member of our family.

I started Dobby on Beneful when I rescued him from the box o puppies two years ago. Today I am pleased to share that we are thrilled to be a #PurinaPartner and #FriendsWithBeneful for 2016! Just like when I shop for me and the rest of my family, I take flavor and taste into account when shopping for food. It’s like watching a small child eating lima beans (or liver or brussel sprouts or any other food). They may eat it so they don’t starve, but you can tell from watching them they aren’t enjoying the food at all. In that same way, I can tell when Dobby eats how much he enjoys his food.

One of the things that attracts me most to the brand is options. The Beneful line has a lot of variety, currently offering 39 products including 8 varieties of dry dog food, 20 varieties of wet dog food, and 11 different kinds of treats. There’s something there for every dog. The dry dog food selection includes puppies, small dogs, adult dogs, active dogs, and dogs whose owners are watching their pets weight. Now that Dobby is 2 years old and 70 pounds, I am ready to take him off of puppy food. I like knowing that Beneful’s Adult or Playful Life lines will offer him the nutrition he needs in textures and flavors he is familiar with.

Speaking of familiarity, you (and your dog) may not be familiar with today’s Beneful. Beneful has been working for over two years to update their dry food recipes. The new Beneful beef and chicken dry dog food recipes now have real meat as the #1 ingredient. And, all new Beneful recipes have no added sugar. Now, while your dog continues to enjoy the same great combination of crunchy and tender kibble they’re familiar with, you’ll feel good knowing you’re serving food that provides tasty, balanced nutrition.

I hope you’ll check back often. I’ll be sharing more about Dobby. I’ll also be sharing some of the latest news from Beneful, including ways that Beneful can help communities like yours and mine.

Our dogs love Beneful. Dobby is such a cute dog! He looks so happy.
OMG, Dobby is so adorable. I can see how he got the name. He has a very Dobby-ish face. Beneful is a great food, so I’m glad you two get to be ambassadors for it.
Dobby is so cute. This sounds like a great brand of dog food.
I am totally Team Dobby and always enjoy seeing him in your posts. It seems as if Beneful has the perfect food for every pup!
When we had a dog, he loved Beneful. It was the only thing we could feed him. The one time my husband accidentally got a different brand, our dog refused to eat it.
My mom feeds her dog Beneful. I like the colorful bits in the food!
What a great program to be a part of, can’t wait to hear more about this!
Dobby is so lovely, especially in the last picture! He deserved a good treat.
Options are always a good idea. I don’t lkike to completely change foods on my dog quickly, but her needs have changed throughout the years.
All dog foods are not created equal so your research is greatly appreciated.
Oh my goodness how cute is Dobby and what a great sounding food! I wonder what Sal would think of it. x
That last picture was great. I love that smile. Dobby looks very happy to be a Beneful ambassador.
This is such a great brand for our pups. Your Dobby is adorable!

Congratulations! My pooch loves his Beneful! I think he loves it a little too much so I recently switched to Beneful Healthy Weight. Gotta keep that doggy around for awhile.
Aww, how cute. Congrats on being an ambassador!
What a sweet puppy face! We have a Chow mix dog, and we use Purina too! We have used it for years.
I like that they have so many options too! Congrats on being ambassador and aww to Dobby! You’ve got a great spokesmodel there! 🙂
