Lysol is on a mission. A Mission for Health. I know a few people that use Lysol somewhat fanatically if someone in their house is sick. Would’t it make more sense to use Lysol regularly, like all of the time, to fight germs and help keep people from getting sick? I think it would. Anyway.
The three main focus points of the Lysol Mission For Health program are:
- Schools – The increased spread of germs combined with schools cutting budgets, Lysol knew this should be a focus. So to empower families, they developed a program designed to teach healthy habits and increase school attendance (aka less sick days!)
- Disaster Relief – Lysol has partnered with Save the Children®, a non-profit disaster relief organization, to support the needs of families whose health and safety are impacted during a natural disaster
- Moms – Moms will be provided with educational recourses about how to keep mom and infant healthy with information available at their OBGYN office, pediatrician’s office, on Lysol.com
Dr. Laura Jana, pediatrician and mother of three, is Lysol’s in-house health expert and health communicator. She is well recognized nationally for her ongoing efforts to promote healthy lifestyles for children and offers credible, practical parenting advice. Dr. Jana is active within the Lysol Community and even hosts live Q&A video chats.
