I love candles. I love nicely scented things like lotions. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try the Scandle Body Candle.

ABOUT SCANDLE
The Scandle is a candle that burns at 2 degrees above body temperature to produce a soothing oil for massage, manicures/pedicures, or as a daily moisturizer. Made from 100% natural ingredients, The Scandle is perfect for at home spa settings. Our first ever Shimmering Scandle Candle offers the added benefits of masking skin imperfections and wrinkles by defusing light. Scandles come in over 18 fragrances (including limited edition fragrances for the holidays) and are packaged in refillable/reusable canisters and sustainable packaging.
MY THOUGHTS
I received a Scandle Shimmering Lotion Candle in Warm Vanilla Sugar. Now I like candles, but I don’t like fire. I have a VERY healthy respect for anything that can burn me or my things. When I received my Scandle Candle I lit it and enjoyed the warm, soothing aroma. Eventually, with the husband only one foot away, I gathered the nerve to pour the oil onto my skin. I was surprised to find that the hot oil did not hurt when poured onto my skin. The oil left my skin feeling very soft and supple. I like knowing that the Scandle Candle is all natural and made from FDA approved ingredients including shea butter, cosmetic grade soy butter, jojoba, vitamin E, & body safe fragrance or essential oils. You can burn the candle like any other as well as use it as a body moisturizer, massage lotion and cuticle treatment.
Scandle candles are available for purchase online and are priced from $12.95-$24.95. Fragrances include Lavender, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Hummingbird, Love Spell, Oatmeal Milk & Honey, Honeysuckle, Sex on the Beach, Green Tea Aloe, Gardenia, Sage & Citrus, Margarita, Fig & Brown Sugar, Eucalyptus, Healing Blend, Uplifting Blend, Sensual Blend, Calming Blend, Detoxifying Blend and Coconut Kiss.
