SYNOPSIS
Thomas and his friends deliver cargo-loads of fun in this collection of uplifting episodes! Ride along as Thomas helps to deliver mail, mend engines, and prepare for the Spring Party on the Island of Sodor. We really enjoyed this DVD. Yes, that’s all of us. CJ loves anything Thomas. I like Thomas myself, and RB and I both enjoy watching CJ enjoy himself. This DVD features four episodes from Season 13. I actually hadn’t seen any of these episodes. In the Creaky Cranky episode Thomas and Cranky the Crane try t outdo each other in lifting and both end up in trouble. In the Tickled Pink episode James is in the middle of getting a new paint job when he is asked to go pickup Sir Topham Hatt’s grandaughter for her birthday party. He’s embarrassed that his paint job isn’t finished and he’s pink so he hides. In the Steamy Sodor episode Thomas is in charge of the SteamWorks and doesn’t listen to anyone, causing problems for everyone. In the Early Bird episode Thomas is asked to deliver Percy’s early morning mail route but doesn’t bother to get instructions. As a result the route is not delivered properly and it causes problems for everyone. The DVD is introduced by one of the engine driver’s Mr Perkins, who’s setting up a birthday party for another driver.  I liked the way that Mr Perkins appeared between episodes with the birthday party theme. It showed that thought and planning needs to be put into everything, even fun things. If you have children into themed parties you may pick up an idea or two for your own party.
