I went to my sister in law’s baby shower today. I had a nice time. I come from a very small family so I thought it was neat watching members of her huge family interact. I was so mad at myself for forgetting my digital camera. My youngest brother had his digital camera with him but we couldn’t take pictures with it because the sd card had fallen out and gotten lost and he didn’t have any more memory cards. She got a bunch of terrific things but she didn’t get a couple of items I really expected her to get. At every baby shower I’ve been to at least one (sometimes more than one) person has given a baby book. Also, a photo album. The other item I thought I’d see is a few more toys. I was thinking about going out tomorrow and getting a couple more things, especially the baby book. Would you ever give a baby gift after the shower is over? I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Of course. There is nothing wrong with gift giving anytime. After the shower is fine, and I am sure the new mommy will appreciate it too.
Babas last blog post..Who Doesn’t Love BBQ?
Well…i always give gifts when the baby is ACTUALLY born too! SO you could give her those things the day she has the baby! But I also see NOTHING wrong with giving her stuff after the shower…what mom wouldnt love that?
