A new website has been developed to help all you of you dog lovers!
Raising a dog isn’t always easy, and there is a compassionate dog trainer that founded a site all about helping you build a beautiful friendship with your dog(s). Founder and dog trainer, Aly DelaCouer, created WhyDoesMyDog.com, a mobile and video driven website that combines the art and science of human-dog interaction. Aly has studied with some of the best animal behaviorists (such as Ian Dunbar, Jean Donaldson and others) and her techniques focus on positive reinforcement and extinction. She tries to see the world through the dog’s eyes, and provides practical, intelligent and caring advice for the humans who love them. WhyDoesMyDog.com is based upon the most current animal behavior science combined with Aly’s years of experience.

I once typed into Google “why do my cat’s farts….” and it finished it for me with “smell like deep insidious death”. Glad it’s not just my cat!

I do not have any pets however, this is a good source of information. My sister has a dog and I will be sharing this with her as I too have always wondered the same thing as others.
We lost our dog last year. I sure do wish I found this post when we had him as he had separation anxiety disorder and was not a super easy dog to take care of. We loved him in spite of it all. I don’t know if we can get another dog anytime soon because we have several rescue cats who take up most of our time. I will share this post with my neighbors who have three dogs.
I think that this website is a great resource for dog owners. A place to get our questions answered and help we need. Raising a dog can be tricky so I’m happy to see that she offers her guidance.
Why dogs differ so.
What a great resource. I have 2 dogs and one of them used to eat his waste. I would have loved to askthis questions. I now give him probiotics and he doesn’t do that any more! Bleh.

This sounds like a great reference site for dog owners. I’m going to pass it on to my sister and close friend, both who are passionate dog people. Maybe we should all look at the world through a dog’s eyes for a change.
Sometimes I do just look at a dog and wonder what they’re thinking! Have you ever read the book Racing in the Rain? It’s spoken from the dog’s perspective. After reading that, I often looked at my dog and wondered what was going on in his mind.
This is great information for those at home pets and want to train them properly. I don’t have any pets but I do have two kids so I keep busy. As always keep up the great work with your blog.
