I remember when I was younger, we’d trick or treat for two nights. We’d trick or treat in our town on Halloween, before going to the next town over for the annual Halloween parade. We’d also trick or treat in that next town over the night before Halloween, because they always had trick or treating the night before Halloween because of the parade. We’d always end up with enough candy for weeks, because we’d go through a couple of really big neighborhoods over there, as well as a few condo and townhome developments.
