Christmas Trade
Starring Denise Richards, Tom Arnold, and William Baldwin you will enjoy the story of a widowed, work-a-holic Dad named Mitch and his 12-year-old son named Robbie. Each thinks the other one’s life is much easier until a mysterious toy has them change bodies where they have to spend the holidays as one another. This film is not rated and is on DVD. This movie is 90 minutes of fun. A great movie for the holidays.
Christmas Tail
Norman Rockwell presents Christmas Tail with actors Kyle Cassie, Antonio Cupo, and Beamer Wigley. You will enjoy this heartwarming movie about two single parents that fall in love while splitting custody over a puppy that both had wanted to give to their children for Christmas. The problem is that Maggie adopted a puppy from the local pound, only to find out it’s original owner didn’t abandoned the pup. The puppy had gotten away while chasing a bird and ended up at the pound by accident. Another great movie for the holidays that will warm your heart. This film is not rated and is on DVD. This movie is 88 minutes long.
The Nutcracker Sweet
This rendition of The Nutcracker Sweet includes actors Drake Bell, Alicia Silverstone, and Edward Asner. It is Christmas Eve and the Silberhaus children are excited for the fun to begin. Marie and Fritz are playing in the children s room when their godfather Drosselmayer arrives and presents them with an early Christmas gift, a Nutcracker. Marie witnesses a great battle between a vast army of toy soldiers led by the Nutcracker against a terrible platoon of mice commanded by the Mouse King. Follow Marie and Fritz s journey in the Kingdom of Dolls, through the Christmas Forest, past the Almond Milk Sea, and the Palace of the Marzipans. This movie is 84 minutes long and includes Bonus Features that include: Meet the Cast, Becoming Animated: Recording Sessions, Nutcracker Suite Children’s Ballet Performance, and trailer. This movie is on DVD and is not rated.
Paper Angels
This movie is an inspirational holiday story about a child in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program who encounters the disillusioned businessman who picked his name from the tree. This is a very inspiring movie and wonderfully written. We often forget during the holidays that there are families that have to go without. This movie will encourage you to want to make a difference. It is a timeless movie as there will always be a child in need. The actors in the movie are Matthew Settle, Rustin Gresiuk, Josie Bissett. This movie is 90 minutes long, is on DVD and is not rated.
From Hallmark’s Holiday Collection
Best Christmas Party Ever
This movie is from the Hallmark Holiday Collection and stars actors Torrey DeVitto, Steve Lund, and Linda Thorson. In this movie, Jennie Stanton (Torrey DeVitto) is a party planner who is expecting to take over her boss’s business, Petra’s Parties, now that Petra (Linda Thorson) is planning on retiring. What she doesn’t expect is that Petra is giving into nepotism and putting her inexperienced (but oh, so good looking and kind) nephew, Nicky (Steve Lund), in charge of the business. This is another feel good movie that will help you feel the warmth of the holiday. This movie is on DVD and not rated. The movie runs 90 minutes long.
Christmas at Cartwright’s
This movie is another DVD from the Hallmark Holiday Collection. It is the story of a Nicky Talbot (Alicia Witt), a single mother who finds herself unexpectedly unemployed at the wrong time of year who is trying to find a way to earn money to give her daughter Becky (T.J. McGibbon) a fun and happy Christmas with at least a few gifts.
Nicky discovers that Cartwright’s department store is hiring help for the holiday season and tries to get a job. It seems like it will all work out until Fiona Aldrich (Gabrielle Miller), a senior executive at the store, puts a damper on her plans and turns her down for the job. You will want to watch this movie and see how it all turns out. This movie is on DVD, is not rated and is 84 minutes long.

All of these movies sound great. I will have to check them out. We love to watch Christmas movies
All of these movies look wonderful and I really want to watch them all, particularly Christmas at Cartwright’s, that one seems like it would really be good.
