Many take me for years younger than my old age. I put it down, of course, to flattery coupled with a lifetime of skin care based on no-no to deliberate tanning, thorough cleansing, and minimal makeup. No Five and Dime makeup for me as a teen; no Dollar Store makeup for me in my adult years. I want good product that applies easily, looks natural, and has no irritating side effects. Call me penny wise NOT pound foolish. Quality products go a long, long way. They conceal as they glamorize without causing skin problem. Furthermore, they last.
My cosmetic bag of Borghese includes:
- Prima Viso Face Primer (SMRP $27)–an invisible, translucent, evening and smoothing color base that moisturizes and balances.
- Eclissare Color Eclipse Shadow and Light Luminous Eye Palette (SMRP $55)–12 neutral matte, pearl, and metallic eye color shades in a mirrored compact.
- Pitch Black ColorEdge Eye Liner (SMRP $21.50)– a long wearing, no smudge pencil in deep, intense black pencil (my personal favorite when fading brow hairs left alone emphasize gray hair).
- Superiore Black Mascara (SMRP $19.50)– just apply one coat with its wand that separates, coats, and curls for longer, thicker lashes; also available in waterproof
- B Moisture Grappa Lipcolour (SMRP $24.50)–a bold lipstick creme high in hydration.
- Eclissare Color Eclipse (SMRP $21.50 ea.)–Simmer and Spark, shiny, shimmering color lip glosses that hydrates alone or over lipstick.
- Fango Purificante ($30)– a cleanser inspired by Tuscan clay with lather to gently deep clean away traces of dirt and makeup.
The Borghese beauty line is superior, high end, glamorous, and wow, does it make one spectacular gift!

Quality makeup is always a great idea for gifts for women! I would love to try that face primer!
I wonder if Santa would bring this if I quick sneak it onto my Christmas list? That Mascara sounds like a great one to try since it says one coat application.
Looks like great products. I could use some new colors.
My teenage daughter has makeup on her holiday wish list…I may have to check this out!
Makeup is always on my gift list either for myself or someone else! It’s such a fun idea and something I don’t always want to buy for myself so I like buying it for others!
