My Dad has had his own version of a man cave for years, in one form or another. His earliest man cave was a dark room underneath the staircase. At another point it was the garage. His last official man cave was a spare bedroom downstairs, which now looks sort of like a cave caved in. The idea of a man cave for Dad is great but it doesn’t work. Not my youngest brother, he’d totally love (and use) a man cave. My little brother loves sports and tech, so for him the perfect man cave would incorporate those things. As it turns out, creating a man-tastic room for him would be pretty easy with a little help from Best Buy.

The focal point of the room would be a 4K Ultra HD TV. With four times the picture resolution of a 1080p HDTV, he would see the details of every pass. With this television he’d really enjoy the game, and maybe even feel like he was sitting right on the sidelines. The giant screen would be perfect for having a game day party with friends and family, or just watching his favorite flick.

As I mentioned, my little brother really loves sports. Especially football. I can totally see him using Philips Hue to have colored lights blink when his team scores. I doubt there would be a need for 50 bulbs, which is what the Hue bridge can control, but I’m sure he’d like at least two in blue and white for his beloved Giants. And maybe one in red for his favorite racecar driver.

The next item I’d put into his man cave would be a Kegerator, customized with a 3D printing tap. My brother enjoys a beer during the game or with the guys. This would give the room a more personal feel and be a great topic of conversation. Once you get past the who’s going to win chatter, that is.

Next up would be a huge pc gaming station. I can totally see him sitting at this. He’d have the game going on one screen, facetime going on another screen with family so he could watch the game along with those of us that are far away, and on the third screen he’d have a game going, for when he wasn’t video chatting with us.

My brother was into remote control cars when he was younger. Now that he’s older and tech has evolved, I still envision him playing with remote control toys. Only these days, he’d probably be using MiP Robots to create his own Robot Fight Club. No need to worry about losing the remotes anymore since it’s all done through your smartphone!

Oh how my husband would love a man cave. These are all awesome ideas 🙂
Home theater system, computer desk, lots lots of electric charging spaces, lounge chair, and cell phone.
My husband would definitely want the Kegerator. He’d also love a turntable – so he could play all his records!
That gaming station looks great. Although I think my husband and kids would fight over it!
My husband must never see this. Ever. LOL He’d break our credit card!
Oh these would make for an awesome room. I love how there are both techie and classic man cave ideas.
Hubby would like a lot of these. Perfect items for a man cave.
I don’t need to let my son in law see those robots! He would be all over those.
I have to laugh about the first iteration of the Man Cave being a dark room beneath the stairs, like in Harry Potter’s bedroom! Glad things have expanded to an official cave! I think everything you listed is so fun I can’t think of anything else!
Can my husband join your mancave? He would love all of these items, definitely great for football season
My husband would love a man cave. He’d need a really big tv in it, for sure.
These items fall into the category of “Best Wife Ever” if I picked them up. Although it’s supposed to be a man cave, I think I’d enjoy them also.
I don’t know if they’ll ever come out of their cave with all of these great sources of entertainment. We have a family room that has more of a man corner. Might be time to step it up and head over to Best Buy.
My husband doesn’t have just a man cave, he has a whole barn complete with an office. He has dual monitors in the office, television in the barn to watch his wood working stuff on and tons, and tons of hobby stuff.
Yep my husband would love all of this, and a man cave. Sadly, he doesn’t have one yet!
Ah yes, you’ve got the man cave thing down for sure. These are definitely items a guy would love to have in his own personal space.
That TV looks amazing. I would have to get an amazing surround sound to go with it.
My husband needs a man cave. He’s a big football fan. That Kegerator looks awesome, although I’d probably use it more than him!
My husband would love to have a man cave! Heck, I would love to have a wo-man cave! 🙂
