Halloween is a time of year known for many things, including costume contests. It’s a lot of fun to see what kind of scary, creepy or just silly costumes people come up with at this time of year. Food Network is taking Halloween competition to a different level this year with their Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship, hosted by Richard Blais.
Imagine participating in a Halloween themed competition where the grand prize is $25,000. That’s what the seven contestants of Halloween Baking Championship are competing for. The Halloween Baking Championship consists of four one-hour long episodes. The contestants will be challenged to create delicious eye-catching foods such as spider cupcakes and mummy macaroons. Creations will have to be creative and impressive enough to win over judges Ron Ben-Israel, Carla Hall, and Sherry Yard.
“Halloween Baking Championship is packed with stunning, outlandish creations from wickedly-talented bakers, that are sure to inspire viewers to create spellbinding treats in their own haunted homes,” said Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network.
Halloween Baking Championship premieres Monday, October 5th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. Join the conversation on social media through the season using the hashtag #BakingChampionship. Also, be sure to check out the website where you’ll find competitor bios, clips from the show and more.
