Synopsis of the Sixth Season:
Vampire Diaries, The: The Complete Sixth Season (Blu-ray+UV)
The Vampire Diaries carries on for a sixth season with an appetizing drama that you can sink your teeth into. If you remember last season after an intense summer with Damon, Elena headed to Whitmore College with Caroline, not knowing Bonnie gave up her life for Jeremy’s.
At the same time Stefan and Caroline’s friendship deepened as they stood up to the Travelers, which as you might know, is a nomadic witch tribe driven to strip Mystic Falls of magic and cast out its supernatural residents.
In the surprising season finale, Damon, scared he would lose his loved ones on the crumbling Other Side, made a huge sacrifice to bring them all back – with devastating and heart wrenching results.
Season six follows the characters’ journey back to each other as they explore the contrast of good versus evil within themselves.
Michael Malarkey joins the cast as Enzo, an old vampire friend from Damon’s past, and Matt Davis reprises his role as Alaric Saltzman, recently returned from The Other Side.
This sixth season includes the talents of:
- Actors: Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Kat Graham
- Producers: Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec, Leslie Morgenstein, Caroline Dries
You can purchase this season on Amazon in Blu-ray + Digital HD and DVD formats.
Interesting how themes like vampires return with time .
My daughter and I loved to watch Vampire Diaries together when she lived at home. Now that she’s at school, I’m going to have to binge watch these by myself! =(
I love this show. I keep waiting for the new episodes to come out on Netflix.
I LOVE The Vampire Diaries. I wish my daughter were a little older. I know she’d love it right now, but she’s still a touch young to watch it.
I have never seen this show but my friend absolutely loves it. I will have to tell her the season is out.
My daughter loves this show. Vampires are especially popular right now!
