That is definitely a great idea for graduates. My step son just graduated from high school.
I remember getting my own bank account while in high school. Of course, I was working at the time and had my own paycheck to put in the account. It continued since then, throughout college, and today I’m good to go with finances under control. Definitely a good idea to get young adults involved with finances.

My children have each had savings accounts since they were born. I wish our bank offered more incentives and promotions for minor accounts.

All of my kids have their own savings account. It is something my parents did with me and my siblings, so I’m carrying on that tradition. It really helps to teach responsibility with money and learn how it all works out in the real world.
