Sebamed Skin Care
I have always been very particular on what products I used for my children. As a nurse, I think I was even more aware of how many chemicals are in the lotions and soaps we use. It was hard to find products that wouldn’t be harsh on my children’s skin. My sister used to live in Germany, and I always loved the baby soaps and lotions they sold there.
Many soaps and lotions are too harsh for babies delicate skin. Sebamed is the #1 hypoallergenic German skincare brand. It is tested by dermatologists and is the result of 30 years of research! This product line has a perfect pH of 5.5, which is just perfect for our skin. It has natural ingredients like chamomile extract, which soothes baby’s skin and counteracts inflammation; herbal extracts from the medicinal plants fennel, yarrow melissa, mistletoe soothe, and protect the skin against irritation.
Sebamed is perfect not only for babies, but for anyone suffering from Eczema, Acne, Psoriasis, Diaper Rash, Cradle Cap, or any irritation. There are no colors added and it is gentle enough for even extremely sensitive skin. There is a soft, natural fragrance that smells like a clean baby.
I received a bottle of the baby Bubble Bath and Baby Lotion to try in exchange for my honest review. I decided to try it out on my own skin. I plan to give my bottles to my daughter when she has her first baby in July, but, I figured the new baby wouldn’t mind if Mimi tried it out first! I had no idea how much I would like these products! Baby will be lucky if Mimi shares!

I used the bubble bath to wash my face. I really loved the soft baby scent, and liked how my skin felt clean, but not too dry or tight after washing. The lotion was light enough to use on my face, too. I used the lotion on my face and hands and noticed right away how soft and hydrated my skin felt. There was no greasy or oily texture, just softness. This will be a perfect gift for my new grand baby!
Sebamed is sold at stores like Rite-Aid, Walmart, CVS and Costco. You can check out their website and see where it is sold near you!

  1. I also love the smell of baby products! I think it is awesome for you to try it out on your skin first as a way to test it for your grandchild.

  2. Wasn’t familiar with this brand, but we’ve been looking for a new shampoo/soap/etc. for our girls. Adult stuff is still too harsh for them!

  3. I have ultra sensitive skin and am unable to use most products. I’ve not heard of Baby Seba Med but I’m definitely going to have to give it a try.
