This post is brought to you by ZetrOZ.

Years ago I had to have physical therapy for problems with my back and knee. I thought it was really interesting to see how different techniques did (or didn’t) help me. And even more interesting was the seemingly endless number of therapies available. Prior to that time I only knew of ultrasound as a diagnostic tool. I hadn’t realized that it could also provide therapy as well.
Part of the reason I didn’t realize this is because at that time therapeutic ultrasound wasn’t easily accessible to most folks. The only people that had consistent access at that time were professional athletes. That has changed, with ZetrOZ’s introduction of sam®. sam® is wearable technology designed to help treat and heal pain. The name sam® stands for sustained acoustic medicine.

Featured on media outlets such as CBS and Fox, sam® is the first and only FDA-cleared device for continuous, multi-hour ultrasound therapy. Available by prescription only, sam® can help you recover faster and stronger by:
- Reducing inflammatory pain in tendons, muscles, and joints
- Relieving muscle spasms
- Improving joint and muscle flexibility and mobility
- Increasing local circulation
sam’s deep-penetrating ultrasonic energy is effective, safe and pain-free. sam® is battery-powered and rechargeable. It can be worn for up to 4 hours, fully saturating sore muscles, tendons, and ligaments with gentle, restorative ultrasound energy.
Here’s a brief video that better explains how sam® works.
ZetrOZ is thrilled to be able to make healing technology previously only accessible to athletes available to folks like you and I with a prescription. They’re so excited that they’re celebrating with a fun contest.
The 2015 Fan Frenzy contest will have two winners. One 18+ winner will receive two tickets to the MLB All-Star Game. One under 18 winner will get the chance to hand-deliver three sam® devices to his/her favorite team! The contest is easy and open to all. To enter, simply submit a video describing which MLB team is your favorite, and which player must stay healthy to win the series this year.

I want to say that my husband and son saw these before and came so close to buying them. They said they were amazing.
It is amazing how far technology has come. What an awesome contest, too!
I used to have one something like this. It felt so good when I had sore muscles. Mine broke.
As someone who suffered with pain and aches all the time due to psoriatic arthritis, I have to say that this sounds amazing. I would love to try them and see if it would help me out. Very cool contest too!
So many technological advances. It’s always so interesting to read about all the new things out there.
Wow I hadn’t seen or hear of that before how neat! So cool the things that are made now! That’s a fantastic contest!
I can see how that would be really relaxing. I’ve never seen acoustic medicine in action before.
I’ve used something kinda like this at the doctors office, very helpful when used . Didn’t know you could get them at home
Wow that sounds amazing. Sounds like a good way to relieve some pain and stress.
How cool! I love technology. Great idea for father’s day.
I definitely need something like this for my tight muscles!
This is such a great tool for athletes. My husband has always played sports and I know how sore he feels after playing all day.
My chiropractor used something like this on me when I was pregnant. It felt amazing.
that is interesting! I may need to get one of these for those hectic days.
PS. You have a video that autoplays and the sound fades in and out
I would love to see how this would work on my chest pain. I have muscle spasms and the doctors don’t really have an explanation on why the pain comes or goes away.
I could definitely use this after some of my tennis aches and pains. And how cool would it be to attend the All Star Game!
I have heard a few friends talk about the amazing results they had with this. It would be worth a try to relieve my pain.
I have been looking into these machines. I have been using one similar at physical therapy, I figure it would be great to have one at home.
Interested. My TENS machine just doesn’t do enough.
Very interesting. I have never heard of these machines before. Sounds like a great resource.
Wow!! I did not know about this. I’m going to ask my PT friends and see what they think. I’m definitely intrigued!
This seems like an amazing machine and I would love to try it out.
This is an interesting machine. I suffer from back pains and it would help ease the pain
Wow, that’s amazing! Some days technology is so frustrating but most of the time it’s awesome. 😉
