I love perfume. There’s something about it that just makes me feel good. And smell nice too, hopefully. LOL. I guess if I had to describe the feeling, it’s like a feeling of confidence. I am a bit picky about my perfume. I don’t like anything that’s excessively floral or woody or musky. My perfume has to be just right. I especially like things that are light and fruity.
I recently tried a new perfume, JLuxe by JLo. Yes, that’s JLo, as in Jennifer Lopez. She makes music, and clothes, and even perfume too! JLuxe is only available at Kohl’s, where it made its debut on April 21. Yes Kohl’s. I didn’t really need yet another reason to go there, and yet now I have one.
JLo’s personality is on every aspect of the new perfume, including the design of the packaging, box and bottle. The box is completely covered in a black and gold zebra print, and features the lettering and logo in a shiny gold. The bottle makes a statement, with it’s square glass design and and zebra striped cap.
The perfume is sensual and simply lovely. It’s a tad wild (like my lawn LOL). No one part of the scent is overwhelming, everything blended together beautifully. The fragrance is sassy and fun. It’s light enough that I find it suitable for any occasion or attire. And best of all, it doesn’t wear away super quick as is the case with some perfumes.
The fragrance notes of new JLuxe by JLo are described as:
Top: Juicy Pineapple, Bergamot, Sweet Raspberry
Heart: Soft Violet, Damascenian Rose, Orris, Ylang Ylang
Base: Warm Amber, Cedarwood, Musk

I like a clean refreshing scent. Nothing with too much florals.
