Many thanks to Carefree RV Resorts for sponsoring today’s story and sharing their #carefreelifestyle with me!

My Dad has told me for years that he’d love to just travel the country in an RV or motor home. Now I love to travel, but I often wondered, aside from the sightseeing, what other things he would do for fun. At home you have whatever you do in the community. But if you’re living a carefree lifestyle and traveling, where exactly is your community if you’re on the road? Carefree RV Resorts!
It’s easy to be active and social at Carefree RV Resorts. Their recently launched Lifestyle Program encourages visitors to pursue their passions or discover new ones within the line-up of activities, events, classes and clubs available at every Carefree Community. Want to learn the guitar? Go for it! Want to play sports or competitive games? Go right ahead! Want to relax? Head to the beach! It is possible to take affordable Florida vacations and sill have lots of fun!

One example of a little healthy competition is the annual Carefree’s Got Talent event, held in Lakeland Florida every March. Each park in Florida has the opportunity to participate in this event. The winner of the talent show wins $250 and a ticket to the finale show for the chance to win $5,000. The event is free and includes lunch and drinks. Leading up to the event the community raises money for Disabled American Veterans. Last year over $15,000 was collected! This year’s goal is $25,000 in donations!

Recognizing an appreciation and need for value in today’s economy, Carefree has introduced the “Start Your Journey with a Passport to Savings” offer. This offer, available for a limited time only, offers guests the ability to pay for 3 nights and get a 4th night free. The really great thing about this program is that the offer is based on the number of parks a guest visits, not the length of stay. That means you can check out several of the great Carefree locations!
Carefree Resorts strives to offer a terrific vacation concept – a great place to stay and relax while still being a part of a community. You can learn more about the Carefree RV resorts, locate an ideal resort, and request a free quote or brochure here.
How do you try to make your vacations carefree?

Carefree Resorts sounds great! It would be a lot of fun to just travel the country in a RV!
That looks like the place for me! We’ve been throwing around the idea of getting an RV, and this article just might be what tips the scales for my husband. Thanks! =D
our carefree vacations start with a lot planning and smart packing. If we are prepared, we stress less!
We have some family that has an RV and loves it. When I was a teenager, we took an RV trip across the country. It’s a really unique way to see the world.
This sounds great to me. Not only can you be relaxed, but save lots of money too!
I think an RV trip could be a ton of fun. It would be especially great if I could get all of my family together.
Sounds awesome to me! I wish I could be at a place like this lol, relaxing and saving some money! Yes please!
I have never been on an RV trip. I think an RV trip could be fantastic and a lot of fun to do.
Yes please sign me up! Saving money enjoy this is my up of tea!
Must be a fun experience! And to do it while saving is great
This would be a fun vacation, I think! We try to plan ahead so that during the vacation, we can relax.
I think traveling around in an RV would be such a neat experience. My step dad was a truck drive and you really get to see a whole other world when you are on the road!
The carefree lifestyle looks amazing! Count me in on it! 🙂
My hubby used to travel a lot with his job. I would go stay with him a few week now and then in the travel trailer. Yes I could get into rv travel.
Figures hubby loves camping but face it his vacation means lots less room, making beds, washing dishes, washing clothes usually without the convenience of home, small cabinet and closet space, and less than home comfortable bed. Give me a hotel or a time share at least.
When I retired, I’m totally doing this. Always wanted to see the country!
This is exactly what I want to do with my life. I love the idea of traveling all over the US in an RV or staying put in some place cool for a little while longer.
I could see myself moving to a warm place to retire. I could see us getting an RV too. 🙂
We’ve been living and traveling almost full time in our RV for over 7 years. We think it’s a fantastic way to explore North America!
My husband and I have been going back and forth on where to spend our next family vacation. One of our front runners is renting an RV and seeing some of the great US landmarks! I will be sure to keep Carefree Resorts in mind.
RV travel is a lot of fun. That is how hubby and I toured Alaska. Every campground is different except for the friendly new neighbors at each one. The pictures of the Florida campsites are quite welcoming, also. Thanks for the great idea!
It’s a great way to spend your lifestyle action in those RV communities! Cooking or going to the beach — Wow, all suits a good quality, yet not-complicated life.
