It feel’s like just yesterday it was Christmas, but Easter will be here right before you know it. Last year we moved to Ohio just at the tail end of winter. Snow here and there but nothing like the snow we have been getting this winter! I am looking forward to the upcoming warmer weather! Easter is a little over a month away. I can’t wait! I love dying eggs with my little one.
The Littlest Bunny in Ohio: An Easter Adventure
This year the Easter Bunny has a special treat for my little guy. In his basket he will be getting The Littlest Bunny in Ohio book. Each book is region specific. They each have art and text specific to each state or city. They have all 50 states as well as cities in Canada. Being fairly new to Ohio I thought my son would love this. In this adorable story May and Joe head to the pet store the day before Easter. The decided on the littlest bunny and named him Flop. Flop had a big secret! He was the Easter Bunny! While the children were asleep he hopped into his hot air balloon. From there we follow Flop all around Ohio while he hides his Easter eggs. He makes stops at Whetstone Park in Columbus, The Great American Ball Park, and the Cincinnati library. The illustrations is this book are great. You can tell they paid great attention to detail. The license plate on the car says Ohio and there is even a Cleveland Indians flag hanging in the room! At the end of The Littlest Bunny there is an Easter egg hunt. My little one loves going outside to find all the eggs the Easter bunny hid around the yard.

  1. I would think that the best place to have an Easter Egg hunt would be Walt Disney World! Or at least somewhere in Florida, where it’s warm!
