Oh baby it’s cold outside! I don’t like to be cold. As soon as cold weather arrives I get out the warm pjs. When it comes to pajamas I like them warm and soft. I’ve tried lots of different pajamas, and got to add a new style to my list recently – PajamaGram’s Hoodie-Footie pajamas.
Hoodie-Footie pajamas are exactly what they sound like. Pajamas with a hoodie and footies (feet). There are over a dozen different styles of women’s Hoodie Footie pajamas currently available. Most retail for $79.99. Sizing for the Hoodie-Footie ranges from XSM to 3X. The pajamas came in a keepsake gift bag. The bag reminded me of a small version of Santa’s toy bag except it was blue.
For the record, I am somewhat obsessed by microfleece. Ask anyone who knows me personally. I have clothes, pajamas and socks all made of microfleece. I love the stuff. The Hoodie-Footie pjs are made of a mid-weight polyester microfleece. It isn’t quite as soft as my most favorites, but it is soft. Besides the feel of it, the other thing I love about microfleece is that it helps keep you warm. The Hoodie-Footies do keep you warm. I always find that if I cover my neck and head I’m not as cold. These pjs have a drawstring hood to help you retain your body heat.
The pajama feet, which have non-skid treads, can actually be zipped off of the pajamas if you prefer to be barefoot. Or run out to do an errand. Hey, who am I to judge? The pjs also have wrist cuffs that have thumb holes in them. I’m not quite sure what that’s about. The pajamas zip up in the front, and feature kangaroo pockets as well.
I received the Snuggle Fleece Hoodie-Footie in size XL, in the Moons & Cows print. The pajamas themselves fit fine, they weren’t too loose or too tight. However. If you are big on top (meaning well-endowed) the kangaroo pockets will be useless. For me the pockets were nowhere near where they should be to be used as pockets, if I put my hands in the pockets my hands wound up on my chest.

  1. Oh my goodness, I can still remember the footie pj’s I wore as a kid. I also remember sneaking and putting my clothes on underneath them one year on Christmas Eve. My parents had this rule that we were not allowed to open presents until we were dressed. I was the first one dressed that morning!
