Ella the Elephant is a very, very cute DVD. The background has a normal cartoon look but the characters are more animated, which really makes the color pop. The episodes take place on Elephant Island with Ella and her friends. The friends work through different problems and Ella usually has a helpful solution with her magic hat.
My girls loved the movie and have watched the whole thing twice in a row. The DVD comes with an activity book that has crafts to do to make Ella’s hat, picture frame, bird feeder, and binoculars. This makes it fun for the kids to play along while watching as well as after.

Wouldn’t–all hated hats until they became sports fans–now it is Giants and Saints for the youngest and Disney fore the oldest boy–all adult.

?Ohhh we love hats here. The favored color is a purple hat that has a red band around it. We are so fancy with our hat on. We take our tea , with pinkies out, while wearing out hats. :o) Meme always has a dress up fun pretend plan when the Grands come to visit.
My daughter is always donning hats! Her personal favorites are her dad’s ball caps and her brothers beanie hats. Most are black and grey colors.
