Are you crafty? I’m not nearly as crafty as I wish I could be. I remember doing different crafts as a child, usually accompanied by verbal instruction or at best a black and white handout. Rarely were there any detailed photos, in color or otherwise. Boycraft sure would have been great to have back then. The crafts in this book are all pretty simple, and can be completed with regular items from around the house, or items that are easily and affordably obtained. The book is loaded with color photos and tutorials, each with easy to follow instructions. This book would be perfect to use at any time, whether it be a project after school or a group of friends hanging out doing some fun projects on a rainy day over summer break. It would even be a good fit for use by extracurricular clubs! There are crafts suitable for many ages. And don’t let the title of the book fool you, this book really would be great for girls as well as boys.

My son has ALWAYS loved crafting with me. He does pretty much anything, but he does love papercrafts. I never thought about pulling out the sweing maching for him. I just know he’d love this book, and it will keep him busy! He has a few cookbooks he loves as well, and cooks up a storm!
I like to do lots of crafts. I made blankets for everyone for Christmas and made some ponchos, too. I made a tipi, and am going to be doing lots of stuff this summer. This looks like a cool book.
