MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of Secret Of The Wings. If you’ve seen Tinker Bell in any of the other Disney Fairy movies then you know she is an impulsive and inquisitive fairy. Tinker Bell lives on the warm side of the woods. There is another side of the woods, the winter side. The winter side of the woods is cold and full of snow and ice. There is a rule that fairies are not allowed to cross the border between the sides, no matter what. Tinker Bell takes a quick sneak trip to the winter side and is very intrigued to see the differences, and to learn that her wings glow. Ever curious, she goes on a quest into the winter woods to find the Keeper and learn more about why her wings glow. Tinker does find the Keeper, but that isn’t all she finds. She finds another fairy who has the same wings as she does – Periwinkle. The two fairies are shocked to learn that they are sisters. Tinker Bell puts together a plan for them to visit each other’s worlds. When her plan runs into a problem their secret is discovered and the two are forbidden to spend any more time together. An accident starts a chain of events that leads to a deadly frost taking over the warm woods. What can be done to save the woods? And what can be done to mend tinker Bell’s broken wing – something for which there is no cure?
