This afternoon I had half of my mouth root planed. The dentist gave a bunch of shots into the gums, all being rather uncomfortable. Then the hygeniest waited for the numbness to set in before beginning work. By the time she started working half of my face was numb, and I mean half as in left to right half. I was surprised that half of my nose and eyebrow were numb. It took 5 hours for it all to wear off. I’m scheduled to have the other half of my mouth done in a couple of weeks.
