SYNOPSIS

Tis the season to celebrate with everyone’s favorite St. Bernard, Beethoven, in an all-new, heartwarming holiday adventure where the hilarious canine speaks for the first time! When Henry the elf (Kyle Massey, TV’s That’s So Raven) flees the North Pole with Santa’s sleigh and his magical bag of toys, he crash-lands the precious cargo in a suburban neighborhood tree.
But when the bag ends up in the wrong hands, it’s up to heroic Beethoven and his teenage pal, Mason (Munro Chambers, TV’s Degrassi: The Next Generation), to rescue Henry, fetch Santa’s toys and save Christmas for children everywhere.
Featuring an all-star cast, including Tom Arnold as the voice of Beethoven, it’s a barking good time for the whole family!

MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure. I’m a big fan of Beethoven (the dog) from way back in the day, so much so that at one point it prompted me to get a Saint Bernard puppy. They are just as cute in person as they look on television, but I digress. In this movie it’s the Christmas season. Henry the stable elf aspires to do more then care for animals and accidentally sets Santa’s sleigh loose, complete with the magical toy bag onboard. He and the magical toy bag both fall to the ground, landing in a small town. In this movie, Beethoven has become a star. He’s dropped off in the same small town to do some commercial work, left in the care of the marketing rep. She in turn passes off care of Beethoven to her teen son Mason. Mason doesn’t want to care for Beethoven but realizes he can make money by letting people have their picture taken with the celebrity dog. The bad guys, in this movie some shady local busines men, find the toy bag and discover its ability to keep generating toys. While they’re raking in money hand over fist, Mason, Henry and Beethoven are searching for the toy bag, knowing that without it Christmas will be ruined for all. Mason stashes Henry and Beethoven in the garage, where fire accidentally starts and ruins the project that Mason’s mother has been working on. Mason’s Mom thinks that he’s just acting out and grounds him. Will the bad guys be stopped, the magic toy bag retrieved and Christmas saved? You’ll have to find that out for yourself!
