Cool weather is here and cold weather not far behind it. My youngest doesn’t have the greatest circulation and is prone to getting sick in the winter. I know feet are one of the big places people lose body heat so I was very curious about the SmartWool socks I received an opportunity to review.

MY THOUGHTS
I received samples of two styles of kids socks:
K’s Double Insignia in Evergreen – Just like the adult version, the Kids’ Double Insignia features the SmartWool Fit System with arch and ankle support. From school to the tree house, these will keep his feet comfy all day.
K’s Hiker Street in Chestnut Heather and Navy Heather – Just like Dad’s version, this sock is the ultimate street trekker or jungle gym climber.
The SmartWool socks are much softer then I expected them to be – I expected them to be sort of scratchy. I out my fingers inside them and was surprised at how warm they were. The colors are bright and my son told me what color they were each time we put them on. I really liked the way the socks held up after repeated use and washing. They remained soft, and the material didn’t start to break down and get those little balls. They also kept their size and shape. All in all I like these socks much better than typical white socks, because of the way they wore and because they just don’t get that dingy look that white socks always seem to get.
