Gossip Girl – Who Should Blair Be With?

One of the things I dislike about summer, besides the heat and humidity, is the fact that some of my favorite shows are on a break. Gossip Girl is one of my favorites, one of the few shows who’s reruns I don’t mind watching. See, every time I watch a Gossip Girl episode I catch something that I missed the first time I saw the episode. This is key for me with Gossip Girl, because the relationships on the show are so complex and always changing. An example is Chuck and Blair. When the show first came on I hated Chuck. After a while he started growing on me and now I like him. Blair was crazy for Chuck for the longest time, but during last season (Season 4) she started developing a friendship/relationship with Dan, who she’d always picked on and put down. She and Dan actually shared a kiss (in episode 18), which really surprised me. Of course, in Gossip Girl fashion, everyone found out they kissed and the s**t hit the fan. Chuck was angry and jealous, but at that point realized he wanted Blair back. I like him with Blair, and hope they get back together. While the friendship between Dan and Blair is fun to watch, I don’t think I’d like them as a couple. He’d never tolerate her antics the way Chuck does, never mind encourage her. And Blair and Price Louis? While the chaos Blair could cause to a royal family might be amusing, I don’t like her with the Prince Lous character at all, there’s no chemistry. Who do you think Blair should be with – Chuck, Dan, Prince Louis or someone else?
