Earlier this year I had the honor of being a ConAgra Foods Blogger Corespondent for the Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign. What I learned from ConAgra and my visit to the local food bank isn’t something I will soon forget. I still believe, for this cause and others, that one person can make a difference.
You can still join in the fight against child hunger and make a difference. For each ConAgra Foods ‘Child Hunger Ends Here’ code that you enter online at www.childhungerendshere.com through August 31, one meal will be donated to a Feeding America food bank – up to 2.5 million meals. So far, ConAgra Foods has donated more than a million meals so there’s still a lot of help to be had. PLEASE check your cabinets, fridge and freezer to see if you have any of the specially coded products.
To raise awareness and thank those that have joined in the fight against child hunger ConAgra has created a “Crack the Hunger Code!” gallery of their Facebook fans. If you’d like to be included simply visit the ConAgra Facebook page and post a picture of yourself and a ConAgra Foods product with the Child Hunger Ends Here logo with a brief description of what inspires you to join in the fight against child hunger.
