I was looking through some old pictures and found these and wanted to share this story.
In March of 2003 we had a big snow storm. In this picture I took of part of our front yard you’ll notice some hedges.
The Old Hedges
There used to be four of them, spaced fairly equally going up my sidewalk. The hedges grew unevenly after time and were all different shapes and sizes. They got the point where they blocked the view from the front window. So in April of 2005 I decided it was time to take them down. My brother LB2 used his pickup truck to help me take them out. I carried out this little project one day while RB was at work. RB came home and was pretty upset. It seems that he liked those hedges, and was most unhappy that I’d taken them down. He was so angry that TJ (9 years old at the time) wanted to make his Dad feel better. He came in from playing out in the yard and announced proudly that he’d planted a new hedge for Daddy. We knew nothing about this so went right outside. This is what we saw.
The New Hedge
Priceless, no?
