I was going to give you a picture of me and a weight update but that can wait a day or two.
This is my youngest son’s teacher, Miss M. This photo was taken last year, at a Special Olympics track event she attended to support my son. Since he joined her class a year and a half ago he has thrived. He loves her like crazy. She’s shown herself to not only be a great teacher, but a warm, caring, compassionate and genuine person. She has always offered support for my son in things he’s involved in and has offered me support in projects that I have undertaken. I’ve never met a woman quite like her. I appreciate what she does for my son and for all children from the bottom of my heart.

Shortly before Christmas Miss M got married. She asked us to join her on her special day. Some people might have been concerned about having a group of children at a wedding, but not her. Some people might have shushed children making noise during the ceremony, but not her, she just grinned. She was beaming that day, as was my son when he saw her. She was a beautiful bride and she and her new husband made a beautiful couple.

Thanks Miss M, for all that you do. Words can’t express how we feel about you. You are a truly beautiful person and we wish you a beautiful life filled with health and happiness.

She sounds amazing and is super beautiful!
Yes on both counts.
She really sounds like a fantastic teacher! I know that has to make you feel so much better as well!
It does make me feel good to know my son loves his teacher and going to school, and that he’s thriving because of it.
This is just so special. I have a brother with Fragile X Syndrome. Although he is 24 now, I remember the days he was young like this and I remember all the special teachers in his life. *tear*
I know we can’t have this teacher forever, sigh. I hope he has more special teachers like her. I think she’ll be a tough act to follow but that’s something that only time will tell.
Hurray for good teachers! I don’t think people appreciate the hard work they put in. Your son is very lucky to have her! Looks like she had a lovely wedding, too! Have a wonderful Wednesday.
How true. My Mom was a teacher for many years. Yes, the wedding was beautiful.
Awwww! I got all misty-eyed reading through that. It’s teachers like her that truly make a difference. 🙂
Honestly, I had tears in my eyes writing it. She has made such a difference.
What a wonderful woman!!!! Congratulations to her.
Great pics, great teacher but not wordless but allowed.
Go to your room. LOL.
Love, love, love this teacher. What a good person.
Connie, we love, love, love her too. She’ll be a tough act to follow in a year or so.

People can be most uptight for their wedding, that is amazing!
I thought the same thing. So many people would have been worried just the wedding, but not her. She’s such a special person.
She sounds like an amazing person and teacher. Such a beautiful bride.
She is on all three counts.
Ok goosebumps, a tear even, what a sweet sweet person. True kindness is wonderful! Happy WW and thanks for sharing this heart warming story!
It’s my pleasure not only to share it, but to be able to share it.

Yes, we’ve seen some good teachers over the years but none on her level yet.
She is awesome!!!
Yes she sure is!
Miss M. literally brought tears to my eyes. I wish all teachers were as special as she!
I do too, we are so blessed.
She looks like a very special person and I’m sure all the kids really appreciate what she does for them.
I’m sure the kids and their families appreciate it, I know we do.
What an amazing teacher and person, so glad your son is lucky enough to have her in his life. She certainly is a beautiful bride.
We’re glad and feel lucky too.
What a wonderful woman. This is how all teachers should be!
Amy, that sure would be nice.
That made me so happy! What a beautiful person. I’m glad she’s found someone to be happy with!
She makes my son so happy, it’s amazing. We’re glad she’s found someone to be happy with, she deserves it. I don’t know him well but I do know he’s also spent time with my son and played with him, so I’m pretty sure he’s a special person too.
Sounds like a wonderful teacher that truly cares about her students. Those teachers don’t come around too often and you got to enjoy them while you can.
She really does truly care about them, it’s incredible.
She sounds like a great teacher! Love how proud your son looks!
That just completely melted my heart. She sounds like a truly wonderful person and teacher, your son is lucky to have her!
tears in my eyes – we need more people in this world like her!
Yes we sure do.
